Updating Revit 2016 Shortcuts in Revit 2017 | Crash!

So I ran into a weird bug within Revit 2017. Many clients are changing their shortcuts in Revit 2017 to commands they are familiar with. I had one client import their shortcuts from Revit 2016 and wanted to modify the previous shortcuts slightly for Revit 2017. This specific example was the “Graphic Override Halftone” either for Element or Category.

When doing this and updating the shortcut from EOH for Element or even changing VOH for Category, it made Revit 2017 crash.

I have sent this to Autodesk and they are now aware of the issue. Hopefully a service pack or maybe a hotfix will squash the bug at a later date…
